About Prestwich Church Institute & Mens Club
Prestwich Church Institute & Mens Club is a social club in the Prestwich area of Bury, with snooker as its cue sport. Visitors describe a friendly, sociable local atmosphere, with reasonably priced drinks and a pen and paper quiz on Thursday evenings. Live music has been held in the main room, and the club's own description also mentions darts and weekend entertainment.
Some visitors report that the tables are close together and the main room can be loud and busy when music is playing, which may not suit everyone. One visitor who attended a booked event described the venue as difficult to use and reported problems with the room booking, so anyone planning a private event should check arrangements carefully.
