About Steels Social Club
Steels Social Club is a social club in Sunderland with snooker tables and a pool table in the bar, plus a couple of dart boards. Visitors describe it as a friendly, older building with plenty of character, and regulars are said to make newcomers feel at home. Live music is a regular feature, with shows in the lounge and in an upstairs concert room, which visitors say has good sound.
Drinks are a major draw in visitor comments, with beer described as cheap by several reviewers. The club also offers card and contactless payment and step-free access. Its listing shows it as a social club rather than a dedicated cue sports hall, so the tables form one part of an evening spent socialising, catching a gig or joining in with the darts.
