About Stromness Community Centre
Stromness Community Centre is a multi-purpose hall on Church Road in Stromness, with a snooker table and a pool table in an upstairs games room. The centre also has two larger rooms that visitors mention for parties and events, and it hosts youth clubs and evening games for adults.
Visitors describe the staff as friendly and helpful and say the centre runs organised activities for a range of ages. Some note that parking can be limited, with spaces usually available a short walk away, and that the hill up to the building is a steep climb.

Before you visit
Most snooker clubs charge by the hour per table, and many are members' clubs that ask non-members to sign in or pay a small day fee. Our guide to joining a snooker club covers what to expect, and the snooker rules guide is a quick refresher.
